David describes his food as produce-led, seasonal and local (where possible). His cooking reflects the ebb and flow of nature and what is available throughout the year. This debut menu at The Yard puts Hampshire at its heart, showcasing the county’s finest ingredients, including chicken from South Wonston, vegetables & herbs from Worthy Earth and cobnuts from a friend’s garden!

As well as catering for private dining and small events, David also runs relaxed, informal cookery classes. He has teamed up with Worthy Earth at their Dummer garden, where later this year they will be hosting no-dig market gardening & no-fuss cookery classes.
