Currently studying Chemistry and Biomedical Science in London, Noah is far from your typical student. A passionate pianist since childhood, he combines a love for classical music with a creative edge, playing in an amateur band and composing his own unique style of music.
What started as a personal passion soon turned into something much larger. In an effort to share his love for classical music and introduce it to a new generation, Noah launched nik.classical a social media platform dedicated entirely to the genre. In just four months, the account skyrocketed to nearly half a million followers, proving there's still a deep appreciation for the art form. This momentum led Noah to begin developing a dedicated classical music app, further solidifying his mission to bring classical music back into mainstream culture.
When asked about the distinction between classical music and contemporary styles, Noah said:
“I very much see them as two very different things. I play classical music in concerts and speak to the world about it through my social platform, but I do not compare it to the music of modern times. I see the classical era as a time where people could interpret what the music personally meant to them, thus creating a different experience for everyone. This was definitely aided by a lack of lyrics—there is nothing to describe and tell the listener what it was about. It was a feeling, interpreted by whoever.
That’s not to say music these days isn’t on the same level. To me, musicians like Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, and Springsteen are just as incredible as Chopin and Rachmaninoff. I guess I’m trying to say they shouldn’t be compared—they should all be appreciated for the truly great musical works they are.”
Noah has performed in numerous classical concerts and continues to be invited to industry events—from label celebrations to album launches—to speak about his journey and his mission: to help bridge the gap between generations and reconnect modern audiences with the timeless beauty of classical music.
